Zimbabwe Scouts
WHO ARE WE
With a total membership of more than 20 000 young people ,The Scout Association of Zimbabwe (TSAZ) is an educational , voluntary , apolitical , youth movement that exists to actively engage and support young people , empoering them to make a positive contribution to society.
Safe from Harm is the highest priority for the Scout Movement. We believe it is our responsibility to help create a safe and inclusive environment everyone in Scouting, and enable the self-development of young people through positive and healthy interpersonal relationships.
Over the years, we have made significant efforts to strengthen safeguarding for children, youth adults involved in Scouting across the Scout Movement, and are actively working to support our provinces to meet the Safe from Harm requirements for WOSM membership by developing and implementing policies, programmes and practices benchmarked against international standards for child and youth safety.
All adult volunteers are required to undertake a Safe From Harm Training upon joining the movement and before every scout activity.

The Mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

2023 National Camp
Scouts from around the country gathered for the traditional national camp which happened in Manicaland province at the famous Chinziwa Scout park.
OUR VISION
By 2023 Scouting will be the nation’s leading educational youth movement, enabling 100 thousand young people to be active citizens creating positive change in their communities and in the country based on shared values
